Dear Friends,

Can you help me out? Dubby asked a question this morning and I don't know the answer.
Dubby wants to know what She does with the stuff She scoops out of the cat litter box. I assumed She took it to the Museum Archives for safe-keeping but I've never really thought about it. Fish is no help because he's on a silent retreat under his turtle blanket.

What do your people do with the scooped cat litter? Any ideas?

Sincerely,

Whistle

Wow. That's a great question. I've actually never thought about it. All I know for sure is that Treater has a special place full of special bags that she scoops that stuff into, and then she opens the door to the big room full of curious sites and smells and puts that bag into a big can. I've never seen where it goes from there because I'm not allowed into that big room. Napper goes into that big room every morning and comes out of it every evening. I'm not sure what goes on it there all day. All I know is that if Treater hauls me to the 'vet,' then we go into that big room...and into a moving room...eeek...I don't wanna think about that!

yeah, where DO Napper and Mr. C. go?

I asked Her once and she said, "to earn your cat kibbles." Not sure because he come home with papers and a leather square not cat kibbles.

C'mon people, I need some help here!

Spooky, looking good!

This is Whistle, not Her

We're not sure either. Mom collects it in a bag, puts on warm clothes, and takes it out into the cold. We don't know where it goes there, possibly into a large can. Maybe she is freezing it for posterity?

My human mama puts it in a bag and then she goes on a walk behind the a part of a ment building. And she comes back and it's all gone.

I never worried about it before.

My sister doesn't like it if she doesn't take it away a lot. She wishes mama took it 3 times a day.

I don't care.

I asked Mama about having a big room. She says you don't have a big room if you live in a part of a ment. Instead we have the back stairs. If I sneak out, I go up the stairs and stand at a nother part of a ment door. Can you do that?> I wish I had a back stairs AND a big room!

I never gave it a second thought. If they don't get rid of lumps fast enough though I usually upchuck on the carpet to let them know the box has not been serviced.

Oh and Whistle: Are you going to join the Gorgeous Ginger cat page?
I'm thinking about it.

I think most of us cats don't really care what our human does with the contents of our litterbox after we've exited same. But, in answer to your question, I've watched many times as Mom scoops our deposits into a black plastic bag, ties it up and takes it out to the garage. What happens to them after that I don't know. I can only assume there is a mountain of bags out there.

Our Momma goes out side the a part of a meant and takes it away in a white baggie.
I think it gets re-sigh-killed and is used to make famous statues.
You know the one of the tall, muscular, ne-kid guy?
It is 75% cat litter scoops.
Bet ya didn't know that.
