Suitcase on bed. Trouble ahead. Mom on go. Cats feel woe.

Wednesday, March 19, 2008

Big news here: Dubby got a new collar. His Christmas collar with polar bears was worn out. Mom got a red collar with beach balls printed on it. She got him to wear the new collar by telling Dubs it was an "Easter" collar.

Dubby loved his blue collar so much because of LMK. Mom says she will let Andy wear the old collar because Andy loses his collar every week or so.

We wear collars so our people can hear us. Besides, we look great!

Fish's collar is over a year old. It looks brand new. Fish believes in good grooming.

I believe in birthdays (MINE!) and Greenies.

Hey! Are any of your people getting out suitcases for next week to go on a ruse?
Lots of talk around here about it.

We told Dubby he had to dress up as the Easter Bunny because he's the youngest in the family!!! He is hiding until next Monday, he says.

A Poem by Whistle

A temper do I have me now,
Upon my furred and whiskered brow,

No one wilt play with me this day
I'd soon they banish all away,

No bathtub bashing,chase or bite,
For this poor puss...wailing plight.

by Whistle because Prof. Whiskers made us write poetry which is stupid because cat poetry involves the whole cat's movement and subtle meowing, not words in "meter". I am being prepared for a cat world that does not exist! I do not care for Cat Academy!

Rules and Rules and More Rules

I am sick of rules!

I am a Cat. What's with the rules?

Prof. Whiskers won't let us use LOL Cats spelling.

Mom says "Stop scratching the furniture!"

Mr. C. says, "Get out of my closet!"

Fish says, "Leave me alone!"

Dubby says, "It's TIME to PLAY WITH ME NOW!!!"

Sick of rules! I need a cruise!

Oh Rats!

Aunt LLS has a suitcase on her bed. She's putting stuff into it and will go back to her cats tomorrow.

She gave me a long cat massage today. I don't even feel my old sports injuries from chasing mice, beating up Fish and running madcap through the house late at night.

I feel like a new cat!

I wish she could live with us. She gave us Greenies today! I got most of them!

Greenies, the Preferred Treat of this Blog

Here are the rules:
Hey! My pal, Cub, over at invited me to play this game.
I saw a movie about white stuff on the ground at his bloggage. He touched it with his paws! I don't understand. But, anyway...

1. You have to post the rules before you give your answers.

2. You must list one fact about yourself beginning with each letter of your middle name. (If you don't have a middle name, use your maiden name or your mother's maiden name).

3. At the end of your blog post, you need to tag one person (or blogger of another species) for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged.)

My middle name is "the Cat". It's a family name and was my cat mom's maiden name, too.

T terrific, 'nuf said!

H handsome, totally.

E energetic, strong and healthy!

C courageous, I bravely go where no other cats have gone before, like the mantle piece and kitchen cupboards.

A alliances, I'm good with other animals

T talented, I stand to get a Greenie. I know how to hide, charge, catch cat toys
and I'm a good student at Prof. Whiskers Cat Academy.

I tag Dubby who has a middle name. I don't know who else to tag. Tag yourself, people and pets!

Cub, you are good dog!

Today is a Limited Access Day. That means we cats cannot go everywhere in our own house. Some doors are closed to us. I begged and scratched outside of LD's room but Mom hollered that she was busy getting the room ready for Aunt LLS's visit. Then, she wouldn't let me in the Kids bathroom because she was busy cleaning it. Then the Study Bathroom, then this, then that!

I gave up and got on her bed to take a snooze. I found Fish, Dubby and Andy sleeping there already.

I do not care for Limited Access Days.
I belong everywhere and I like to know what is going on.

Sister, One Tired Dog

We had wind and funder all last night. I know this because Sister, my dog, told me she did not sleep at all. She doesn't care for noises outside of our house. Funder gets on her nerves especially.

We cats sleep through everything except the sound of cat food being poured into our bowls or when the drawer to the Greenie Treats is opened. We trust Sister to monitor the outside noises.

She is the best dog in the world. I wish all of my cat pals had a dog just like my Sister. She loves us and takes care of us. She plays with us, too. She is gentle. She feels warm when I snuggle up next to her.

Dear Aunt LLS,

I don't know if you read my blog. I know you are busy doing things with Dibby, Assumpta and B. We are very happy you are coming to see us. I want to show you the freckles on my nose. I have four now. I am one good lookin' cat. Fish has ONE nose freckle, poorly placed. Too bad for him.

I'm writing to say that IF you are bringing us cat treats, our preferred brand is Greenies.

I have to go now. I hear Mom. If she knows I'm suggesting you bring us Greenies (my favorite!), I'll be in troubles.

Many of you beg for an update ABOUT MY THIRD BIRTHDAY!

Whistle, not suggesting you buy a present today but start looking!

This picture is from "Cats for Obama 2008" I think these are caucus cats.
I am all politics all the time these days.
I need a President who will protect pets by having people inspect pet food coming into our country.

Oh, btw, my birthday is in August,

Whistle, this is my blog and I approve this post
