It's cold here. I'm sitting on my Mom's lap to blog. I hope she isn't reading this and I am not sitting on her lap to reach the keyboard. She's very warm. I am very tall in real life. Tall and big.

Maybe a meme is a good way to let EVERYBODY know that MY BIRTHDAY is August 28.

Gotta run. Time for Bathtub Bashing where Fish and I get into the bathtub and beat each other up! Great times!

Fish says S.A. got my address from The New Yorker but I say Scientific American knows how smart I am.

This is me, Fish. I am in the same room with MY NEW TURTLE QUILT! My Sue sent this quilt to me. It has TURTLES! She is Truffles and Ouzo's Mom.

I feel very grateful. I knew my old quilt would go into pieces and be put away. Now I have a new quilt.

I have a favor to ask of you.

My turtle quilt is disintegrating. My turtle quilt is my happy companion. I've had it since I was a wee kitten. My turtle quilt comforted me last year during my leg fracture surgery.


I go under it to meditate and nap. I think deep thoughts while I retreat in privacy. I am a contemplative cat.

If you see a quilt which looks just like this one, please get it for me.


I don't want any quilt, just my turtle quilt.


It was designed for babies and contemplative cats.


I think you might find one at a thrift shop or someplace where people recycle household goods.


Please find a replacement turtle quilt and mail it to me.

Happy New Year

Our family had lots of people over to eat ham, cabbage and black-eyed peas with rice.


The ham was on the kitchen counter.


This picture is not from our house because Mom said she doesn't serve New Year's Day company on red plastic plates.

All I know is that I didn't get any ham. Nobody with furry feet got any.

We had to take our naps in Mom's bedroom. Away from the food and people.



Next year, I'm going the the par tay and eat HAM.


I'll be 3 this year. On August 28th if you need to write this in your new 2008 agenda.
